PRIMID type polyester resin

Polyester resin is a general term for polymer compounds formed by polycondensation of diols or diacids or polyols and polyacids. Polyester resins are classified into saturated polyester resins and unsaturated polyester resins. Unsaturated polyester adhesives are mainly composed of unsaturated polyester resins, pigments and fillers, initiators and other auxiliary agents. The adhesive has low viscosity, easy wetting, and good processability. The cured adhesive layer has high hardness, good transparency, high brightness, fast curing at room temperature, good heat resistance, and excellent electrical properties. The disadvantage is that the shrinkage rate is large, the adhesive toughness is not high, the chemical medium resistance and water resistance are poor, and it is used for non-structural adhesives. Mainly used for gluing glass fiber reinforced plastics, rigid plastics, concrete, electrical can sealing, etc.
